Important note, this is not a replacement of Adsense auto ads as
amp-auto-ads
component is still in beta during the time of writing. However, this integrations does resembles the fundamentals of in-content ads placement, where ads displayed seamlessly within contents of a blog page.Blogr-AMP (V2) Blogger theme with AMP HTML integrations have provided the framework to place ads within a blog page content to help bloggers/publishers to easily increase revenue via optimised ads placements.
Users are able to set their own placements within their blog contents, depending on their readers preferences & reading flow.
From our initial test runs -- thanks to Blogr-AMP's users participation -- optimizing ads within contents have increased ads revenue up to 12%! Although small, any positive data returned from this will hopefully open up to more chances for publishers to increase revenue -- with minimal effort.
For the record, using in-contents ads display like implemented at this blog, would also increase the chances for ads coverage from earlier 66% - 93% to consistently within the range of 96% or higher. But then again, depends on users content & advertisers bid availability.
